max rpm

which long tubed runners will raise the power peak the highest?

please do not say stealth ram or miniram etc, only runners.

yes

ya ill post stats for motor

88 350 2 bolt block
new cast crank
new con rods
new pistons
new bearings
completely oven cooked and hot tanked and cleaned
new brass freeze plugs
new gaskets

its basically been completely rebuilt my Engine Specialties in MA.

for cylinder heads i have 89 corvette aluminum,
summit 1.5 ratio aluminum roller rockers
standard valves, pocket ported

stock 88 tpi roller cam with new roller lifters
new pushrods

i just got in the mail from summit american thunder flowmaster 3" exhaust
hooker emissions legal headers w./ y pipe
edelbrock manifold base

i just need runners

I would say siamesed runners would with siamesed plenum & base. That would chop around 12" off the effective runner length, but they would still look like runners.

Why build a fresh motor and put the stock cam back in? The cam grind itself is going to limit how high you can rev it up. The factory cam runs out of steam before 5000 RPM.

i am keeping the cam in for now because i can eliminate that as a problem if the engine doesn't run when i get it togethor. Since i am adding so many things at once, it might be hard to diagnose what the problem will be if it doesn't run right.

so you guys think that slp semi siamesed are a good choice?

next year im planning on getting a cam and extrude honing the plenum, runners, and base.

does anyone have any experience with extrude honing?
