Does one need a new Dist. with a Stealth Ram?

Just like the topic says. I saw a few guys that made mention of needing to get a smaller distributor to get the Stealth Ram to fit. is that true? I have yet to see any definite answer on this.

If so, whats the part number? I'll need to order it.

It needs the smaller distributor in order to fit. That means the remote coil setup that comes stock in 89s, so you should be able to use your existing distributor.

You'll likely have to cut your coil bracket a bit, though. Nothing major.

Jza, thank you so much. I guess that no one alluded to the fact that the '89 was already set up for it.

You, sir, saved me some money. Now I don't feel so bad about buying those R-1 Racing seats last night.
