Multec injectors-Good or bad?
I have a '89 305 with multec injectors. I think they may be bad but I don't know.
Anybody know if the multec's are a good style injector or if they are crap?
What problems have you expierianced with these? I heard they were good because they didn't get clogged as easily as the pintle type.
How do I see if they are bad or leaking?
Should I change them to the pintle type?
Thanks,
Matt

Matto,
The ball design is pretty ingenious. They earned a bad reputation mainly because of the susceptibility of the solenoid coils to lose their insulation and short in the presence of any kind of harsh solvents, like gasoline with alcohol. If the solenoid resistance is still acceptable, they are probably O.K. to use. As long as you can meter more than 12.1 ohms, go for it.
