cannot figure out hesitation??

Please help give me some insight into this issue. I have a hesitation in gear when you go to about 3/4 power, for about 2 seconds (like it studders) then away I go. This weekend I did a header/cat-back install, so I pulled all my plugs (two months old) and checked my wires. Everything on the car checks out (full tune up 2 months ago, replaced everything), but I can not lick this one. Fuel pressure is right at 48PSI and doesn't drop off. Could this be bad fuel injectors?? Other than the hesitation it runs perfect.
thanks

Probably a MAF or TPS related problem. Does the car run good otherwise?

the only other problem the car has is on cold starts you have to give it gas or it will die, but after 5 seconds or the second start its fine. MAF sensor is a year old and checked the tps today and it was great.

maybe

I had a similar problem with a little hesitation but it was immediately upon depressing the accerator from idle. I did the tuneup, checked the TPS, checked vacuum hoses and nothing. Finally my stock ECM went out so I replaced it and bought an Ed Wright fastchip at the same time, VOILA, no more hesitation. Sorry I can't be more specific but thought this might help.
