LPE 219 cam and LTR

I know alot of you guys say the 219 cam isn't a good match for a LTR setup. But what if you were running AFR 190s? I'm gonna do a cam swap with AFR 190s. I have a LTR for now but later I'm gonna switch to the SuperRam setup. Do you think my car will perform pretty good with a 219 cam,AFR 190s and a LTR setup?

There is a guy on the corvette forum that is doing that and running pretty well. I believe a member by the name of GoFasterFirebird posted his website in a thread last week ... in disbelief. Dig it up ....

I'm quite interested in this as well. I plan to use a similar setup on my l98. AFR 190s and a LTR setup, but the cam is still a toss up. I've heard good things about the lt4 hotcam, but I don't know.

I looked it up but can't really find any good info on his combo. I think the guy is BSing a bit. I guess no one on thirdgen has tried it before

Nobody else has any opinions on this combo? Or experience? I'm still nsure about how it will work.

Red Nailed it -

You will Go faster with the SR, but I don't think you will be Dissapointed with the LTR.

I planned on using the SuperRam later on. I can't afford it right now since I'm getting AFR's,cam and all the other thing to install them. I do have a modified LTR setup on it now though.

There is a guy on here named Colt that has that setup. He still needs to get an aftermarket manifold base and runners.

His car runs great with this combo.
