TPI swap - is an 88 or 89 system better?
I have the choice of 2 TPI systems for my swap - an 88 and an 89. Which will give me the better result?
Are there better PROMs available for 1 or the other [I will burn my own chips eventually]? It's going on a 350.
Am I better-off without the cold start injector or is there no real difference?
I already have the 88 wiring harness and ECM with an ADS chip in it but using it with the 89 system should not be any drama?

everybody run's the 89, just like you mentioned no CSI. since the popular ARAP bin is an 89 and it has no need for CSI. it would the best choice. looks a little cleaner w/o the CSI.
there would be no drama since the only true diffrence is the CSI. just tuck it away and be done with it.
