Is there any difference in HP gains from the Iron/Aluminums

i am wondering if there is a HP gain difference between the L98 irons and the aluminums. if so, is it really that much or no? thanks a lot!

There is compression, weight, flow, and resulting horse power gains.

They are alot lighter, they have 58cc vs 64cc combustion chambers, and Dport exhaust. Aluminum is easier to work with when porting so that expands your horizons, I can't confirm but I believe they have a little more meat to port as well. There also has been theorys that more effort went into swirl in the aluminum L98 combustion chamber with swirl pads etc, some say its just a casting mark, but none the less if you have the option to get either, go for the aluminums.

I believe the l98 iron heads flow more out of the box than the aluminum's.

not sure about the intake side, but i know they dont on the exaust side
