tpi ppl i need help desperatly
alright,
my engine is in my sig. i have a very radical cam in my car,i got my clutch thingy fixed tonight,and tried to take it for its first real drive tonight,the car would not idle,brakes had alot to be desired b/c of the cam,anyways,for what my engine has in it,it didnt run for ****,i mean,lower rpm's,the car would pick up pretty good,not as much as i think it should,but wasnt to bad,got into the upper rpm's car acted like it didnt get enough fuel,it like started fludding out,my friend was with me,he said,acts like it gets to much fuel at lower rpm's and not enough at higher rpm's,whats the problem with that?my tpi system is 87 converted to speed density,has 52 mm tb,also,my fans i guess arent kicking on at the right time,i have a new thermostat,and it is a 180 degree,and my car got as hot as 220-230 tonight before it went back down,thanks for everyone that helps me out.

Sounds like you have multiple problems, but you didnt give near enough information.
What chip are you using? Who did the programming? What injectors are you running? What size engine did the donor TPI parts come from? What are your 02 readings looking like (you do have a scanner, right?).

the tpi system came off a 87 305,injectors are the 19 lbs injectors,i got the system off of "zepher"on here,he said he made a custom chip,for the fans to turn on,around 170 degree's,he also said something bout the injectors should run alright on my engine,cuz he said he did something to make more fuel come out of the injectors,i dunno,much about this stuff,no i dont have a scanner,would it even work on my car??i dont know bout the o2 sensor either,it is brand new,like all the rest of the sensors,so now,can ya help me out now??what other info might you need??thanks alot for anyone trying to help me.

Go to someone and get a custom chip burned for it. Also, you will probably need larger injectors to feed a 350. I'm guessing on this but I think 24 pound injectors will probably help some. You might also have a vacuum leak that is causing the car to idle incorrectly and the brakes to feel soft. Purchase a can of starting fluid and spray around the area where vacuum lines connect to the engine and other accessories. Also spray around the gaskets of the TPI system and the areas where the manifold meets the cylinder heads.
