Sounds like a Nice mild Cam that wont require much further modification to work well.

replacing the peanut cam eh?

Sounds like your getting the Summit/Crane Blazer cam. I ordered the Crane Powermax 2030 which has about the same specs. I had to return parts to my local speed shop and the 2030 + CRANE FPR was a even swap.

Need to get it installed. Should be worth 30-35 hp alone, + another 10-15 from porting the base/plenum.

I would go a little more aggressive, I am running a compcam.
.495/.503 218/224 and I wish I had gone bigger than that. The stock heads will hande up to around.470, I would look at something around there.

I had a cam virtually identical to that one. I ran 94MPH in the 1/4 with it. Personally, I'd get one just a little bigger, something with more lift. Or maybe do some 1.6 rockers, that might help.

My 305 cam was 440''/454'', dont remember duration, ran great with 96-8 mph in the quarter. I recomend it
