What do I need to make the Pro Action Lightning heads work?

What do you guys think about those Pro Action Lightning heads? I was reading on the boards that they are real good but how would they work for my combo? I will be using them on a 1989 Iroc-Z with the stock 350. Now I have the Holley Stealth Ram comming and I think the LT4 Hot Cam would work good for me. I was originally going to get the Trick Flow 23* heads but I heard that these heads are better??? I want a street strip car that will be taken to the track about twice a month and driven on the street on the weekends as a recreation car. I wanna run mid 12s.
Now the questions:
Should I go with the 200cc or 220cc versions? I need to keep some low end for the street but the 220s flow so well too... Would the 220cc be too big for a 350???

I will be going with the aluminum versions with the CNC porting...will I be able to get these heads running for around $1200?

What exactly do I need to assemble these heads including parts and tools?

What size and brand springs, valves, retainers...and such do I need for the LT4 Hot Cam?

What push rods will give me the correct valve train geometry?

I wanna go with the 64cc version but should I get the angle or straight plug version. I will be using SLP 1 3/4 shorty headers made for the L98 on them? What will give me the best plug clearance?

Is there anything else that I am leaving out??

Thanks!!

For your combo, go with the 200cc heads. Price for the bare heads with CNC should be about $800 from Competition Products...and they only had the angle plug in stock when I bought mine.

Competition Products also have all the valvetrain products you will need to assemble the heads. They carry name brand and off brand stuff. I personally don't need Manley valves as long as I can get a good quality stainless valve for a lot cheaper....etc. on the rest of the parts.

Their tech line isn't the best, but their prices are pretty cheap.

I have bought some valve springs from them before and the key is to get the specs for the springs you want, then choose the part #. That way the only one to blame is you...

As for pushrods, you will need to get a pushrod length checker to accurately measure the length with whatever rockers you want to run. See the proaction site for more info. All of the tech info on the Iron lightning heads apply to the Aluminum lightning heads (so says an email from ProAction)

Do any of the pro-action heads have heat cross-overs (EGR)? I am asking because i am going to be building up a 383 for my corvette and i was originally planning on either trick flow 23 degree heads or AFR 195's because these heads are smog-legal in addition to being good heads. But both of those are going to run me $1000-$1300 respecively and if i can find a good cheap alternative...........
