? about getting intake machined
Alright I got the stealth ram, And now I wait for the fuel rails like everyone else. Well I've been trying to find a machine shop to wided the holes on the intake to fit my heads. And they act like that has never been done, and don;t know what i m talking about. What is a easy way to tell them what I want. Trust me its not as easy as you would think it would be.

The earlier heads have all 12 bolts at 90° to the head. The later ones the center 4 bolts (2 on each side) are at 72° instead of 90°. The location of the hole on the bottom of the intake is in almost the same spot, its real close. The upper area needs to be redrilled for the bolt to fit in at 72° and preferably a flat pad for that bolt head to sit on. Its not difficult, if someone knows what they are doing and has the right machine. Its a matter of bolting it down, drilling, and spot facing. Simple.
