Stealth Ram..Guess the perfectly matched cam.
Since we're all the guinea pigs at this point, how about some speculating on what cam would work best with the Stealth Ram in a 350.
Since the Hotcam is so cheap, I was thinking about starting with it, with AFR 190's and the Commander 950 DFI and see what she'll be capable of.
Any other thoughts?

Well, here's what I'm going to be running with my stealth ram. The stealth ram was sort of an afterthought when it became available, the rest of the engin was already built. I could probably stand to go for a more agressive cam.
Specs:
87 2 bolt one piece non-roller virgin truck 350
76cc World S/R Torquers (2.02, 1.60)
about 9:1 compression
Comp XE262 218/224 @ .050, .462/.469 lift w/1.5
Speed desnity (gm '730) electronics w/24 lb lt1 injectors
Dyno2000 tells me around 330 fly hp with a single plane carb manifold. The main reason I chose the cam I did was with the engine being a stock bottom end, I dont want to spin it any higher then 5500, and my power peak will be around 5200 with that cam.
Eventually (2 years at least) I'm going to be running a roller cam 406 that will be built to spin, probably afr heads. Then I'll really be able to take advantage of the stealth ram.

Do a search on the commander 950 over on the DIY prom section of this board. Always research a product before purchaseing. It is also cheaper(significantly) to by a TPI system and use the stealth ram and fuel rails then just sell the unused parts, see "Popular Topic: Holley Stealth ram"
The AFR's and the Hot cam combined with the Holley Stealth Ram intake will make a nice lil motor. Use a SD TPI ECM and harness and enjoy a street lethal machine.
