Engine temperature
Just replaced the MAF on my 2.8 a week ago. No more check engine lights but I noticed that the engine temp runs at about 70 celcius when on the highway. If left to idle it goes to 100 and then the rad cycles it down. I don't remember if it ran that cool before. My jeep runs at about a constant 100 on the highway. I can not find anything on the site about this. Is 70 the correct running temp for a 2.8 or is that cold. Seems to be running fine otherwise. Thanks. Danv

Re: Engine temperature
That sounds about dead on thats about the norm for even FWD 2.8/3.1 powered cars. Should goto the half mark and then the fan will kick in.
