My car is officially a go-cart now.
Installed 2" drop 850lb Eibach race springs in front, 2" drop 175lb springs in the back along with weight jacks(ride height adj.) on all four corners. Belltech 2" drop spindles, poly control arm bushings, poly endlinks, new wheel bearings, rotors, pads and all new synthetic brake fluid on the weekend. I think the only way I can get my car to lean now is if I take an off camber turn. I was just doing some quick testing lastnight at about 60km/hr... I threw the front end back and forth as quick as I could across a couple lanes and it wasn't even hinting at leaning and i actually had to stop after turning about 4 times as I was coming out of my seat! Car feels awesome.
Car still needs some alignment, probably camber/caster plates and possibly even a bumpsteer kit now. Getting the car properly level in all four corners is going to be interesting without weight scales also but whatever for now. Gonna fix my toe in the next couple days and find a good ride height for the street and then I'll take some pics to show how low I am. Maybe even post a goofy video showing some of the handling if possible.
Also suprisingly the ride over bumps isn't as bad as I thought. It's not tooth jarring but it is definately stout/stiff. And only a couple extra rattles so far in the right rear. No surprise as the spare is still back there.

Koni reds would be a much better matchup for these springs... I just went with kyb's for now.
Where'd you get the belltech spindles??

Oh and luckily I won't be needing any camber/caster plates. When I goto get it aligned on the rack we'll see if I'm in need of a bumpsteer kit or not.

Regamaro brought it by my house today, it looks great! Completely slammed and functional as well. I can't wait to see how he makes out at the next WOSCA event!
Any plans on going to a 16" rim/tire at any point?

Why the Reds - aren't they a good bit softer than the Yellows

Next year I'll pickup some 16x8's or 17x9.5's if I find the right deal. You should post a pic of the wheel/tire combo you showed me today on your ride. That looked sweet!
BTW, is anyone familiar with Baer's bumpsteer kit? Does it replace the complete outer tie-rods?

Nice set up.
Just the kind of thing I would like to have. You didn't happen to measure the height of your springs before you installed them did yah? I understand that you loose about two inches due to the adjusters but what height were the springs by themselves before you installed them?
Thanks
Ric

Oh yeah
just thought I'd let you know that mcall's racing in London will do the set up for you once you decide on the ride height you want. They have the digital scales and front end alignment stuff so you can get the cross weights right and then do the alignment. Just thought you might be interested.

Heya Ratchet!
I was thinking about going to mcalls or however you spell his lastname. Any idea how much he'd charge for all that? I got a line on good set of used digital scales for ummm trying to remember... maybe $500??? Anyway, I've also got a toe bar and camber/caster guage. I just don't have a flat pad to set the car up on. Anyway what ya think he'd be asking for all that setup?
About the springs. They're 9.5" freelength ESS(Eibach race)springs in front and Suspension Spring Specialist springs in the rear. Rates in the sig below. The front weight jack does take up about 2 inches yea. The rear weight jack is also about 2".
BTW, those camber/caster plates you fabbed up look real nice. Saw em on Jays car yesterday.

don't know what he would charge. .... But I bet it would be less than buying the scales. You will have to give him a call or drop by his place.
by the way are the rear springs also 9.5" free height?

As for the rest of my alignment I'm just gonna goto some place where I can get a 4 wheel alignment done altho I think I've done most of the work. Toe is now 1/32 out. Can't check camber/caster yet but the camber is still a bit much I'm sure.
