special thanks to jim for helping me find the 400 block..Brett of westside performance plus is a class guy..I would recommend his store/shop if you want honest service..

prices are cheaper than p.i. ,stock more stuff(including Spohn stuff)and atock a lot of GOOD used stuff..He even showed me a new Vortec small block with the new SB2 heads..never rushed me when I asked him questions,return calls when promised...

SB2 heads??! Wow. I didn't think that SB2 heads mated to a standard SBC (unless the Vortec blocks are different).
How was it setup? Any details?

BTW, does "new" SB2 heads mean SB2.2?

Well Im just reinstating what he told me I have no idea when it comes to these kind of engines..He said its the new Vortec motor with the new SB2 heads..cylinders are not siamesed,coil pack on each cylinder,plastic intake,mono TB etc..

I was under the impression that those newer heads will not fit a old sbc like ours. Not 100% positive but.....

Glad you like the store, most people underestimate it until they get there. .......what happened with the 305 idea???????? Looks like your going carb since you don't have a Super Ram any more and sold off your TPI components. Good luck with the build-up.
