Car: 90 IROC 5.7 hardtop
Engine: L98
Transmission: T5 swap
Axle/Gears: Yup -- they still work
yes there are
hey IROCKER the Vette manifolds are wayyyyyyy different than ours check 'em out sometime.
YES the log type manifolds came in 2 inch and 2 1/2 inch.
The carb'd non HO got the 2 inch and the EFI's got the 2 1/2 inch manifolds. This according to what I have learned/heard/seen.
Trivia -- supposedly it had something to do with those cursed air tubes (4 per manifold) to make these work the log had to be larger inside diameter than previous.
adious,
RP.

I guess I have everyone thinking now Aye? The people at GM themselves had told me that the 89 and 90 Irocs, had GM highest flowing manifold in that era. Probably isn't a huge amount of difference. Again I was told only the two IROC's got these... The car they came off of, also was a southern car from FLorida. Hey just going by what I've been told by a lot of others! My 85 Monte SS's original manifolds port is smaller than these Iroc ones. The Monte SS did have the H.O. engines, but like said it was carburated. I will sell for less. Just wasn't to sure exact cost. Don't hurt me though. LOL

When I got my engine done, the guy told me the manifold design was really poor. This is in 87 at least.
He said the exhaust has to rise into the manifold as it exits the head, before it is forced back down and out.
Beats me !!!!

S@&t, like I said wasn't sure on a price? Come give me a $100 for them for all I care... I figured someone would actually give a price that they are worth. Nobody did though. I was told that these are a half inch bigger than carburated stock ones. So for a person with a stock carbed car this would help them some and keep it emissions legal all together. I'm no camaro specialist or anything just heard a lot of others, that know a lot more then I about these cars. Is no one interested in the other parts? make me a offer. I don't care what just make one. DOn't be stupid and offer $10 or something that will waste my time. I just need the space. Best offer can take it away!
