Rewrapping the steering wheel
I want to get my wheel rewrapped in leather so I go looking for a quote. I come back with a quote of $600!! For that price I'll just get a brand new one from the dealer. If anyone knows of a place to get this done cheaper please let me know.

I hear ya, i tried finding one as well, to replace mine, no luck. Apparently all are the same. I just figured ill go and buy a new Grant GT. About 65$ for the wheel, and 35 for the adapter. Nice lookin and a helluva lot cheaper.

Dude, have you called the dealership? Check that out first and see what the want for retail. And of course I can pick it up for you with the TFbM discount if the price is right, seeing as I still have your membership card. It may very well be cheaper to buy a new one if they still stock them and it should be a really easy install.

Check out fibrenew.com they restore, fix seats in auto, home etc. They are a franchise with a guy in K-W.Their web site will give you before and after shots on a variety of repairs. Was quoted over the phone to repair a cig burn in the car at $60,no need to remove the seat as they are mobile.Probally a hell of alot cheaper than new with great results.Check it out and let me know.

Or check out this place:
http://www.american-stitches.com/
All they do is rewrap steering wheels, and their stuff looks top quality. I browsed around their site when I was considering having my wheel recovered, but bought a Grant for now, until I decide what to do with the stock wheel.
