I was sitting at a red last night and this '99 Z28 pulls up next me. He revs his engine which sounds like a new exhaust was put on it because it was AGGRESSIVE I thought what the hell at least its american. He totally stomped my car. I never got to pull on him at all We met up at the next light and we were talking over the red. He said he had a new intake, Flowmaster cat-back with new headers, and a chip. He said that I had a nice car but it needs some mods When the light turned green we both gave thumbs up to each other and he took off. It was awesome. I live in an area where it is rare just to see an american muscle car. Ricers are eveywhere where I live. I am just glad the car that beat me was a :hail: modded LS1 Z28

hey its ok...my friend has a 98 SS sweet ride he has 3in Flowmaster and K&N...we raced it was good for 20-30ft i had him on the start but then his car ATE ME ALIVE
but i twas good for a lil bit of the race

I lot of L98 cars would beat my LS1...

to 30mph .

Anyway, dont feel bad about loosing to that combo. From the mods you gave he should be running high 12's.

I don't feel bad at all. I got to see a nicely modded LS1 really go at it I only went up against him to see that happen. Man it was great too.

I wouldn't mind losing to an LS1 or really any Camaro. I love American muscle cars and don't personally care if I win or lose, just as long as everyone invloved is cool with the outcome.

Yeah its a lot more fun when the person you are racing with isnt a sore winner/loser. When you stop and talk about the cars it is the coolest
