Think i could beat a 1972 Ford Maverick?

My friend has a 1972 Ford Maverick with a 302 in it. he has done basicly nothing to it except flowmaster exhaust. i have an 86 sc wit 305, dynomax 3 inch cat-back and a transgo shift kit in my 700r4. Do u think i could take him.

Car: '02 Rodeo
Engine: 3.2 V6 DOHC
Transmission: 5spd
Axle/Gears: 4.30 Dana 44 Rear 10 bolt front
what is the 302 out of?
what kind of induction does it have?
if its a carbed late 70's early 80's 302,
then you should beat him imo
but if its an h.o. 302 i dunno

its the original motor that came in the car. the car only has 32,000 on it though and an old grandma owned it before he did so it wasn't beat on. Its carbed im not sure if its 2 or 4 bbl though but its totally stock right down to the snorkel air cleaner with the exception of the flowmasters.
