Lotus esprit chick on high street
Well I was cruising with my friend from the "nice" Kroger grocery store when this chick pulledup next to me in a silver lotus esprit, don't know what model, I wasn't LOOKing for any of the details. We had cars infront of us so we couldn't have any fun . She went pretty slow when the light turned green, I did the same and was waiting for her to punch it and show off a little. Well I think she did because her front end went ski high and I figured she was playing so I did it a couple times and let her get the "jump." That's about where I left her. I'm just glad I didn't catch her with my old motor and rolling on the highway, I would have been dead. Just thought it was cool that I ran into a CHICK driving a lotus, one of my favorite cars, definatly something you don't see everyday.

what the hell were you doing at a Kroger store...Kroger is EVIL, Sorry about that, just venting, I worked at one for a year.
Anyways just yesterday I was in a parking lot and a women rolled up in a Diablo! We went over and started to talk to her and look at the car, she said she'd just bought it off Ebay for $150,000. It was one sweet looking car.

Hehehe...the new Bugatti also makes nearly 1000 horsepower (using SAE methods, using overseas methods, it makes 1001), is all wheel drive, has a SEVEN speed tranny....and costs an estimated $850,000. It's also estimated to do 0-60 in 3.2 seconds...can you say...whiiiiiiippppplash!

The older esprits were 4 bangers, the newer ones are V8's(Turbo?), I'm not sure what they run but those cars look fast standing still. Awesom!I bet they look even better with a hot chick behind the wheel. What the hell am I saying, any car looks good with a hot chick behind the wheel.

the new one's a 3.5 liter V8 with twin turbos. It's only rated at 350 hp but they run like a mid 4 zero to 60 and probably low 13s to high 12s. can you believe the chassis has been around since the 70s? that's older than me!

I saw a red Esprit yesterday!! Those cars look so cool. It was on the other side of the street, coming toward me, and I saw it from really far away. At first (it was still in the distance so don't laugh) I thought it was a third gen, but then I realized what it was. Sooo nice.
I also saw a really dark metallic green late 60s, maybe 70 mustang fastback, a 68 GTO converitible also in dark, met green, and tody a 69 SS Camaro in a light metallic blue--That was the best of all. I love those cars. Someday I will have one. Funny thing is that usually I don't see a cars near that sweet. Oh, it must also have been convertible corvette day, because C5 verts were running around everywhere!

Man... you guyts don't have your priorities straight! Sure, we LOVE cars. BUT, when a woman pulls up and says she just bought the car for 150G's off of EBay, THAT'S the time you start putting the charm on her!!! Just think how fast our third gen's could be!!!
Remember: Takes money to go fast, takes more money to go faster.

You must be one sad kid to have to post such worthless information. What ever happened to the SN "theformula"?
You wish you could get a kick out of me. You're just a pathetic little man with nothing better to do after your Dad took away your car. This might come to a suprise to you but my car just ran a 13.5 @ 105 with a g-tech. That's with a stock tcc a 214/224 flat tap cam, crappy eprom tuning, and no traction. Oh yeah, and with my huge toolbox in the back well. I can't wait to get to the track on the 15th. You should come buy and check it out. A bunch of my friends (sorry you don't have any ) are going to be there. It's a friendly event and not too far a drive from you being in DE and all. Hope to see you there. Oh yeah, it's at Atco Raceway on the 15th, gates open 9am, we're going to dinner in the evening. You probably won't show but it's worth a try.

Hey Racnoth, If you think the Bugatti's fast for $850,000, you'll find this interesting. Hennesey's (speed crazed Texan a'la John Lingenfelter) latest Viper is a slightly bored out twin turbo beast pumping out in the neighborhood of 800 hp. This thing runs 0-60 mph in 3.2 secs on stock tires, and 2.4 secs on racing slicks. 2.4 secs, I believe, is an ridiculoulsy short time to be rocketed to a mile a minute from a standstill. I guess whiplash is an understatement for this car. I can't remember the 1/4 mile time or the price but this car was in Motor Trend a few months ago. I'm sure it runs 10s or 9s easily. It also cost a lot less than $850,000. Not a flame but just a thought ....
