Last night on the way home from dinner @ my parents, my girlfriend & I pulled up to a light next to a kid in a 88 or 89 RS (in her '97 GT Mustang-flowmaster, BBK offroad h-pipe, BBK intake, etc w/ her driving). Thought nothing of it until the light turned green & the RS leaves the spinning it's tire. Before I can say "Get him" she launches hard & by the end of 2nd gear already had over a car length on him....foolish little boy! I can only imagine his surprise & embarrasement when he got spanked by a chic in a convertible Stang

Oh, & it was a V8 w/ big exhaust tips....

This is a third gen board not a place for your cheap Rustang page. Who cares really cuz it was just an RS you idiot. They are not all that powerful anyways plus it probably was an automatic and as you put it pulled up next to an 88 or 89 RS but we had this this and flowmasters and that and two of those. Well sure your going to beat him besides his was probably bone stock anyway moron. I could take you with my RS. Its got a 350 with 385HP compared to your 200+ little ponies so just cuz you can take out one little camaro you better watch out cuz your car isnt all that.

you rag on me cause I drive an import,so friggen what. I like the camaro but since I drive an import you call me rice and even go far enough to say that my car was a civic.

also as for a few of your comments about how all imports are slow I think I would be willing to take you on. just had my tranny replaced as well as a new motor put in. running about a 12.8 at 110. that way if you are running what you claim (which I doubt) and if that would be a little challenge you and prolly a little bit of a bust to your ego since I am only running with about 295hp oh yeah guess I am running a little less power then you. I could always put my n/a motor in that is just bolt on goodies and that runs a 14.8 at 92. that should be able to run what you even called a stock tbi v8 RS with a highflow muff.

see we all can go about throwing how big and bad we are but atleast some of us are able to back it up and dont have to resort to calling names.

sorry man but most the post I see with you trying to say all imports suck and that your thirdgen is the best car out there and for those who like imports or mustangs and the likes how they are nothing more then sheit... kinda funny you remind me of the rice boys out there that we all hate so much cause there little civics and accords are so bad that they can take any car out there

Well its been awhile since I have even posted. And yes I dropped in a new ZZ4 sb crate from JEGS. It took me about a week with having to go to work sometimes and school. Plus my friend had to give me a hand with his cherry picker and swapping out the TBI. Ok this has gotten blown up. My point is that YES your hella modded Mustang can and did beat a probably stock camaro and all I am saying is you need a challenge. And I hate ricers but imports are cool I am sure you have heard that quote on here.
And as for the firebirds. I just hate the really crappy ones with the more than three color paint jobs like primer grey, rust red, and dusty brown. Cuz thats all we have around here. So but anyways I dont like the F-body stangs but I do like the 96-98 GT's cuz those are pimp. And I like the bad *** firebirds with the trans am ram air hood that looked cool by the way. But anyways thats bout it from here so hope you guys arent royally pissed cuz i didnt want to stir the pot.

i think that we have figured out that
a modified car can usually take a stock car
heck my slow '00 civic edged out a stock
(at least i think) 92 rs v8 on the highway.
all it has is a cold air, and a short shifter
now at a stoplight, it would be a different
story. (civic has no low end)

Lowstyle, I wouldn't consider you an *** for bashing the three color Firebirds and the such, but it's mostly opposite where I am, all the Firebirds look nice and the camaros are rusting out falling apart etc. but I think primer grey at least says "I'm trying to fix it up"... Just think twice in the future before you bust someone's *** about driving a Mustang or Import etc... don't give any mercy to those that just come on here to stir up ****... but use some good judgement.

Wow, I posted it mainly just to brag about my girlfriend racing as many of you guys commented on...I love it. As for time slips, the stang only went two passes this year w/ her driving....15.1 & 14.8. This was when she first got it too, only had the Flowmasters on, no h-pipe, intake, etc. As for me....12.7's first time out on street tires (only got one pass b/c I broke the ring gear) & am at work so I'm not sure of the trap speed. But that's w/ no tuning & already have a 383 going together w/ a solid roller shooting for 11's next year so come put your $ where your mouth is LowStyle!

I agree lowstyle needs to lighten up. It seems absurd that some people take the whole Ford/Chevy thing so seriously. I live in Texas too and some people here realize that there are good cars and people on both groups. Its fun to have a friendly rivalry but just don't take it to the point where you are calling people idiots and morons. My two cents.
