rankin has been dead in my eyes for damn near a year. I stopped going, it got way to trashy. The cops have been all over it, I mean the damn Police Academy is all of 3 blocks away, so it was a stupid place, but people started vandalizing property, drinking and racing.. very stupid. Last time I went home, I stopped by, nothing but a bunch of 84 Olds Cutlass Supremes on 13" fake daytons w/ a buch of people drinkin 40's and smokin weed.

some friends hide out near Corvettes of Houston, and race up on Louetta sometimes. I haven't been by Brittmore in quite sometime, but the GOOD racing used to happen there. Rankin couldn't hold a candle to it.

I just recently went to Rankin and frankly it sucked. There was a line of ****ty cars a 1/4 mile long just waiting to race, everyone was drinking/smoking. The worst part however was that there were some morons mudding right beside the track. This obviously made for ****ty track conditions and no one in the lane closest to the mud area won. One of the mudders and another guy actually got into a fight when mud was sprayed on his car. I used to frequent Brittmore when I had my GTA and that was alot better. The cops usually end up breaking things up at about 11:45, but there are always some quality cars there.

I used to be out at Brittmore just about every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I've probably seen you out there. It was way better there, we used to stay still about 4am. but yeah the cops(usually Jersey Village) did tend to break it up ever 45min to an hour. man I miss that crap.

hey thanks for the info on rankin. i havent been in awhile. im always scared im gonna get a ticket from the cops that hide at the finish line. by the way, i drive a red 86 firebird with an SLP header
