Aside from being pretty cool to look at/watch/do,, might I inquire as to the actual point of it ?

Hmmm...well its just fun. I used to drag race alot. Tehn I found SCCA and dropped from drag racing. Then I found drifting. I tried it. And well. Its just fun to do. And thats pretty much it. Just having fun.

Yeah, drifting is fun. Drag racing gets boring after a while. I also found SCCA Solo II which is a lot more fun and more driver's skill required because my stock IROC has beaten modified 4th gen Camaros as well as other IROCs. Drifting is not easy to do, but it's fun.

Well I'm dropping from drifting for a bit. Today at drift session I was doing good. Drifting up the course. But suddenly my ebrake stopped working. So I couldnt get the back end out. So I tried other methods of breaking out the back end. And I ended up hitting a trash can. Ripping my lip, bending my bumper, and dimplying my fender. ****!!! oh well....luckly I work full time...so my car will soon be fixed. And ready to be a show car.

What's with the rice writing in your sig?
Just a hint, the people with obnoxiously long sigs (like you) usually spare the rest of us, and only post it once in a thread. TIA.

You don't need the e-brake in proper drifting, you step the back of the car out with power and then turn with the skid. It's even more fun
