raced a mustang and a camaro at once
well i was out driving in my 85 trans am 305 TPI, the car is mostly stock with 36000 origional miles on it. Its a 700r4 auto tranny and it has a 9 bolt posi/disk rear with 3.27s out back. The mustang was basicly stock, it was a 92 5.0 auto. SO heres how it happened, i pulled upto this light on RT20 and i was behind a camaro RS (3.1) and i notice its a kid driving the car, i look next to the camaro and i see the mustang, so right away i knew both cars wanted a peice. The light trurns and i hear the mustang roar out and the little camaro start going, i punched it and went sideways past the camaro and right behind the mustang. Seeing how the mustang had the jump he waited for me and we got next to each other at about 50 and we both went on it, it was dead even until like 90 when we both shut it down. It was pretty phat, i think i could have pulled harder on the mustang becouse i didnt want to have it all the way down the entire race becouse the car would shift into 3rd and put the RPM's to high for where i wanted to be, i jsut like to baby my car thats all. N E way it was pretty kool and i though id share. later all!

Nice race,its always fun,you gotta love them mustangs because without them then there would be no competition like it,it has been going on since 67 and the birth of the camaro and its the strongest rivalry on the streets today,i dont know of any stronger rivalry,your yellow bird is sweet,i am sure she couldv'e taken out the 5.0,it was proably some punk anyway who beat the snot out of it,i dont even waste my gas anymore as alot of the cars who try to race are beat or are ricers that should go up against the Lawnchief,lol.

thanx iroc kid! those mustangs do produce a good race though i know i would have taken him. Mustnag and f body rivalry has been going on as long as i can remember, it makes for good compition. Believe it or not the kid in the mustang was in a relatively clean car and he wasnt a ***** or n e thing but he was still a mustang owner

Pine Bush is located by Middletown/Newburgh area,in the Hudson Valley,i am about to grab a map and see where Orchard Park is,cant find it,what city is it located by?As for batman and superman,that is a great rivalry but they have teamed up against other villains,hey,so do we,camaro/mustang vs. ricers,lol

orchard park is near erie NY or near the peace bridge, either of those 2 points are about 20 miles from orchard park........
BTW it will always be mustang vs f body, even if stang and f bod teamed up agianst ricers there would be that unresolved match between the GM and ford guys....
