Hot rod or car craft did a 331 stroker 305 9 years ago. You got to ask if its a 305 or is it a bored out 302

BTW baddest305 had a fast 305 car at one time. Running a similar time I think.

Re: 1984 camaro on pass time
it was a stock eliminator car...and it was slow compared to other 305 stock eliminator cars. i've seen 'em go 10.7x's with 305's.
it's expensive to get the little boat anchors to go that fast. i had one that was decently quick on motor (12.3's) if you do a search. i still street drove mine too. baddest305's car was quick, but his 11 second passes were nitrous assisted.

It Will cost you a lot less money to make the same power with a higher displacement small block.
Big blocks are a different story though.
Building a 305 is a challenge, that's why people do it not because it produces more power. Anybody who says otherwise is blinded or biased.

Re: 1984 camaro on pass time
idk guys, i built a bad *** 305, nothing to that level but it will be a good street sweeper when its done, probably **** off a few 350 owners, but nothing too fancy. i was just handed a brand new .30 over 305 crate motor with the car when i bought it, so i decided to do what i could with what i had, i wont really go into much detail on what i did though, there my secrets, but basically cam and head work, all home done. but i would build a DZ302 over any 350 any day. but both cars will both get 350s with 304 cams and M22s when im done,
