so there is the specs. im running a stock gta 5.7 with a 700r4 tranny (stock) 245HP 345TQ i have an open filter but thats it.



this guy just has a big mouth he keeps telling me he would whoop my *** as soon as i can find somewhere to race he would be happy to stomp me. sound like BS to anyone else????



just want opinions.....thx guys

Your car is lighter & has more HP. Tell him to put his money where his mouth is, or to shut up.....Don't blow it on launch & you should easily walk him.


BTW.....Ditch the open filter. Your sucking in hot underhood air, which takes away from your horsepower.

Take him to the track and teach a lesson there so he can see his times and realize how friggin slow he really is and then he'll shut his piehole about his pathetic ford lol.
And as already said, ditch the open element filter. It's costing you power chances are.

note def taken bout the open filter....but my car seems to stall easier w/o it.....i think i need injectors....the open filter just eased the loping / idle surge....but yeah track idea a B.A. one lol then there is documented proof of *** whoopage lol.

Check all of your injectors with an OHM meter. Also look for vacuum leaks. Try to get that fixed so you can ditch the open filter element.

yeah i have always felt like i have never felt what this car really runs like i mean it puts you in your seat but not very sure of itself while doing it lol....

i have an 86 305 with an exhaust and no back interior and mine would walk on a crown vic you could do it at half throttle

I agree when I had a 240ish HP 305 in my fullsize G20 van, I ran away from a crown vic on the highway like it was sitting still.
