2004 Mustang GT Kill
89 L98 Full bolt ons
04 GT 5 speed, 3.73 gears, exhaust, headers, intake
We went once from a dead stop on a long two mile road. I beeped three times and we were off. With both of us spinning out of the hole we were dead even at 20 mph, by around 30 I started to pull on him a bit [1/2] car. When he switched into second gear i heard a LOUD bark [wish my car did that!]. By the time 50 came along I had about a car length on him. It stayed this way up until my car switched into third gear, then I pulled a bit more. Pretty sure I heard him chirp third!. At around 90 mph I had about a car and a half on him. We shut down at 115 ish. Not exactly sure but I think I had about two cars on him. I thought this race would be alot closer than it was. I think traction played a big role because my car shifted into second with NO wheel spin, where as his car was spinning. Thank you auto trans! Good times.

Anything that does not run 13s is slow to ME, everyone has an opinion. 13s aint **** ither but it is quick. 12s is movin, 11s is haulin, 10s is holding it down and single digits on a street car is insane. 14s and slower is nothing to talk about.

If your "full bolt on" L98 doesnt bark going into second you have really great tires or dont have a shift kit of any kind.
My old L98 with no where near what i would call "full bolt ons" would try and go sideways on a WOT 1-2 shift.

Re: 2004 Mustang GT Kill
its not all that hard to bark the tires on a gearshift with a manual.
