My 89 Vs. Tib.

How would i fare against a stock 2004 Hyndai tiburon 5 spd.? i have 1989 camaro with the l05 and headers full flowmaster exhaust and an open element.

4 cyl. or V6 GT? If it's the 4 banger you've got this one in the bank, the V6 MIGHT give you a bit of a run. If you had gears (3.42) you'd stomp his a$$ like nobodies business.

It the v6 one..... i raced him when i had my l03 and he didn't beat me too bad.. he was prolly going 10-20 mph faster than me when he passed me.

Doubtful, those cars have NO TOP END. I used to work for Hyundai and I know for a fact on what these slugs can do. I raced one from a 30 mph roll and even after 110 he was 6 cars behind. From a dig it was worse. If you don't get hit with the horrible one wheel peel I wouldn't worry to much.

I have POSI so its all good i just don't understand.... how do you other tbi guys beat tibs if i lost to one? did you race from a dig? i didn't......

if you go from a roll you lost your advantage, from a dig, a 170hp 250 torque will own a tib, your 1-3 gears are alot stronger

In my case my car weighs 3080 with me in it (2900 without) and I'm a tad far from stock. Still tuning though so there's still more in it.
