N/A MKIV Supra vs 92 RS V6
one of my best friends owns an MKIV supra yesterday we decided to race, his mods were cat back exhaust 2 1/2"-3" i dont remember which and cold air, he said around 240hp running low 16s in the 1/4, my car was a 3.1L LHO, my car was all stock only mod i had was the k&n filter. round 1 we start from a dig and go to 80mph. i got a bad start and he got 1/2 length head. after i hit 80mph he was about 2 car lengths ahead. both of our cars r 5 spd manuals, except our clutch were about to die, only raced once cuz my clutch gave out and that was the end of that. not bad for a stock camaro, can't wait tell he puts a t-61 turbo in his car and i have my LT1 goin to be a race

both r clutchs are about to die, he is not that great of a shifter. i perfer the LT1 over the lsx series because 1. its cheaper and easy to find 2. its iron block a little stronger over the LSx series 3. an easy swap to do. keep in mind we're only 16 both the kid w/ the MKIV supra and me

A LT1 may be cheaper but I wouldn't say they are any easier to find then a LS1. I wouldn't say a LT block is stronger then a LS block either, LS blocks are 6 bolt mains and guys are running 600 hp safely on stock bottom ends and the LS series also responds to bolt on / all mods better. They do also make iron LS blocks. I would agree though the LT swap should be easier.

Why don't you swap a Cobra motor into your car then your name and pic would be appropriate.

be carefull with those supra's espically when they are playing with boost. a buddy of mine has a mk3 with a 70 trim turbo and he will be right on my *** even with the 100 shot.
