l98 vs SRT-4 stage 3

l98 vs SRT-4 stage 3

right now a guy at my work is talking hella **** about his srt-4 will smoke my iroc. he claims that hes running 11.8s on street tires which i think is bs. i was wondering how my car will hold up aganist a stage 3 srt

My mod are ported upper intake and base with slp runners. full msd ingination, roller rockers, tb bypass, cutout, walbro 255, accel 26 lb injectors, AFPR set to 50lbs, and a 125 shot of N20, alston sub frame connectors, bilstine shocks all around.

before i race him i will have a set of headers and more then likely a set of trickflow heads. i will also will have my hoosiers on also. do i have a chance?

The stage 3 SRT4's are good for mid 12's with a VERY talented driver. I doubt he's ran an 11.8 on street tires unless he pulled his boost reference and let it run insane boost. Up jet your nitrous and run him, make sure it's a little less than a quarter mile bolt the slicks up and spray that sucker right off the bat. I'de put my money on you in this one. Oh btw he'll probably tell you he wants to race from a roll, if he says that laugh at him and explain to him that racing from a roll is for soccer moms.

The 125 is your key...
I had an SRT-4 that ran 11.7 on street tires but I had ALOT more done then Stage 3...I had that too I might add...
You will kill him off the line, but he is going to catchup to you once you guys are going....Off the line is really impossible so make sure you get a good launch and get out in front.
