79 Z28 VS 95 mustang GT

Well the oldlady and I took my 79 to the grocery store today...and on our way home loaded down with food here comes a stang now hes moving but when he sees me he pegs it passes me by 3 cars,I drop to second and romp the gas. Only took a sec to catch him then looked over at him and his buddy (both had a stupid look on their faces) smiled then buried the throttle keep in mind were doing about 70 mph and i'm still in 2 gear ....as i start to pull off he drops gear but does him no good! after I get a car length i hit 3rd and walked another car and a half and doing 107 . Then the shows over i have to turn because I already passed my first turn into the neighborhood.
After my wife stops giggling like a 2 year old she says thats the guy that was hitting on her and checking the car out at subway one day . I think he just wanted to drive a real car !!! LOL Only wish my NOS was hooked up and had time to advance my timing He might have went home and set his car on fire!! Sure does get the heart pumping!!!! Later on guys

Did you hit your head this morning??? LOL Why would you wanna do that??.. spend the money on a motor and suspension for the car you have!! I beat most stangs out here in my 89 iroc. You know the 82-92 camaros weigh as much as the 90s stangs! Plus to many stangs on the road!! Dare to be different

Oh I know man, I am building my TBI up. That is the biggest way to be different is to have a RS TBI car being made fairly quick. I mean later on down the road if I hit a deal. I by far would rather have your car than a 95 Stang.

So you think the Mustang owner wanted to trade cars with the one you posted a picture of??? Seriousely... you REALLY think that.

Take my word for it, as I am a Mustang owner, even though I like GMs and Fbodies, I would not want that car.

And dont wory, you dont need a GM motor to go fast in a Mustang. Afterall, you dont even need heads, a cam, or a power adder to run fast! But how would I know.

Nice kill, just remember, not all Mustangs are built equally.

Car: 1987 IROC-Z Camaro
Engine: 5.7 350 TPI - SLP Runners, AFPR, MSD Goodies
Transmission: 700R4 - Shift Kit, Corvette Servo
Axle/Gears: BW 9 bolt, 3.27s
IMO, Camaros of the 80's era look better, but the mustangs seem like they are always faster, frankly, id rather have the faster car. But for now, Im stuck the asmahtic tpi.

I'd rather have a fast but beat up lookin camaro than a slow mustang, even if it was clean.

beat up camaros that look like his tend to run 11s and better where I come from

AS much as I love 79-81 Z's and 76/77 Birds, Im not liking the sidepipes, air scoop and go fast stickers. The 1980 Z28 is what got me looking at muscle cars.

25th, he never said foxbody, he said SN95, and uptil 1998-2001 era depending upon the tune of the stang. My stock 305 hangs with them. Those 4.6's aren't all too powerful till you hookup a S/c. But then its like a TT305.. Whats the point?
