People don't think that cars are fast just because they own them, they think they are fast just because they've never driven anything faster. How fast is your car by the way? I don't remember.

Ya I think your right. A bunch of my friends around here got ahold of a buddys 02 Mustang GT. They thought it was the fastest thing ever. All of them owned regular cars such as escorts and taurus's. [Not the SHO cars].


My Camaro? It only runs 13.5. By todays standards its not very impressive. Oh well...im only 19 so I cant afford anything else. lol

my mostly stock N/A rx7 has beat a c5 corvette from a dig as well as beating a c4 vette around an auto-x track
guess that settles that about how good vettes are as well right?

no, but it does say something about 99% of Vette drivers... especially the one who stalled his C5 at the light, allowing your 17 sec RX7 to walk away from him

Hey my mom has an 03 4runner and its got the hood scoop. That SUV is freakin badass man. 0-60 in the mid 7 second range with the V8. I love driving that thing. I actualyl raced a boxster in it one day and stayed with it pretty good up until 105 when i backed off...obviously the boxster was either tiptronic or he didnt downshift to the right gear but the 4runner impressed me nevertheless.

EDIT: Not saying a 0-60 time in the 7 second range is text book 'fast', but for an SUV that thing is definately impressive.

and it was a low to mid 16 second car thank you very much not a 17 seconds. geez give me some credit.


but you get the idea I was atlest trying to make. if two races settles the situation with the scion TC then my 2 races should do the same. and the C4 didn't stall at the light he ran the whole course I just ran it a smidge quicker

haha i understood what you meant, i was just giving you a hard time about the C5 victory which you always seem to bring up whenever Vettes are mentioned. besdies, there are alot of uneducated people on this site and i cant have them disillusioned into thinking a run-of-the-mill N/A RX7 can walk a C5 (you never seem to mention that he stalled)

when they bring up how something settles a situation they never seem to understand that it might not just be the car. that driver might be part of the problem as well.

also in anyone in their right mind should know I would have no chance against a c5 vette in any way shape or form unless the driver just flat out sucked.....
