1/4 mile improvement Stock GTA times
I have a stock 1991 GTA 5.7L. Last year i had a best track run of 14.8 @ 95MPH w/ 2.4 60ft cause i rolled my Nitto's through the waterbox. Wasn't thinking. If i could have widdled that 60 footer down to 2.0 -2.1 what would my approx 1/4 mile of been. Car still has decently low miles about 60000.

that bad 60 foot will take off abit of mph from your run too. it has happened to me... with a better 2.0 60 foot, i would say a 14.2 at 97-98mph would be a accurate estimate. maybe if your lucky, it might break 14.0's into the 13's... if you get your launch down into the 1.9's, but thats just a hopeful guess...
my converter eats abit of topend power and thus traps abit less..but thats expected. i would have liked to think my car was capable of low low 14's at nearly 98mph or so bone stock....
with the converter and suspension..
i ran a 2.0 60 foot and did 14.2x at 95.5 or something
next run was a 1.94 and ran a 14.01 at 96mph
another run was 2.0x 60 foot and 14.14 at 92mph
best run was with a 1.89 60 foot and went 13.89 at 96.6mph
so alot is to be gained with a good 60 foot

I doubt it could touch 13's this is a bone stock GTA, no gear changes or anything. And its loaded to the ****. Leather and all. I would love to see 14.3-.4 's cause thats all Stock LT1 6spds run around here anyways. I did beat two stock Auto LT1's though

Hey, not bad at all. Pretty decent, considering the age of these cars now...

Personally i know that was bad as the GTA is a definte mid low 14 second car. Mileage sure takes its toll on our cars performance though.
