theor. Diamante Vs. 86 Z28?
Looks like I am going to race my friends Mitsubishi Diamante. Its a 2000, and is in pretty great condition.
The Diamante is bone stock. Not touched by the likes of even a cold air intake.
My camaro is a 1986 Z28 w/ 350 swap, Mild cam, Performer intake, and the obligatory Flowmasters
AC Deleted.
Who do you think would win from a dig? 40 mph roll-on?
If you guys want, we have an XL1 MiniDV Camera we can capture the action with
Probably this weekend or the next..
thanks in advance:lala:

i found this not sure if it is the same thing or not but just saying with what you have done i wouldnt think you would have a problem from a stop and probally not a problem from the 40 roll so i dont think you have nothing to worry about

Why don't you just race him? I don't understand this whole trend of asking if some people you don't know think you'll win or not. Does it even matter what they said? If everyone in this whole thread said that you would lose, you wouldn't believe them and would still race him right?
Don't think I'm being a jerk or anything, I've just never asked a question like this before, and I've been on boards like this ever since I could drive.

Results:
Undefined.
Although we raced from stops and roll-ons a few times, we never got a good run. We drove around for a while trying to find a out-of-the-way place to run but just couldnt. People drive EVERYWHERE.
Hah.
Cutting to the chase though, I'm sure he has the faster car, top end if anything. Made me feel like a 305 on roll-ons past 60. Weak sauce.

I'm dead serious. I was really stoked about going from a stop, but damn! that thing knows how to get off the line. From a roll on it was a silly joke. Im thinking that i need to do some serious tuning.

This is a little OT, but what should I check on my car? How can I see if I have emission-built heads?
I need to see the block marking telling me its a 5.7L, b/c this is crap
edit -
If it werent impossible to find the f*****g casting numbers. I went out there and its spaghetti all over that area.

Maybe i misread.
