Whose Got The FASTEST Car On TGO???
ok i know of a ton of fast cars on here, but i want to know the person with the fastest and im sure a lot of others do too. lets hear what you have, be legit (no bull****).
tell us:
engine setup
hp/tq ratings (flywheel and wheel if possible)
and quarter mile times
if this goes well then maybe we can move into suspension work and even have a Top Ten greatest TGO car list. There have been best looking firebird and camaro polls etc but none for pure performance.
i would start however im still running my 305 TPI until i can afford to build my stealthram 383.
Mods: if this doesnt belong here please move it to where you think it belongs but i figured the fastest wouldnt be N/A anyway

Hi CamarosRUS,
Good thread! Well I am sure I am not the fastest, but the GTA with single turbo was a very fast car for the street.
My specs where:
355ci with stock bottom end with forged TRW low compression pistons. Stealth ram, other goodies.
T56 6-speed tranny
573 rwhp
no times, sadly
New project;
TT GTA, in a very slow progress

Monty's car is amazing and I love it, but I don't think it's the fastest 1/4 mile car. His time, I think, was like a 10.58...although the trap was around 150+mph. So his car is definitely more at home on the highway than the 1320....something to give those Supra dynoqueens a scare:hail:

Well, I’m sure Guido’s old car is up there, but I guess that’s gone. Maybe blown bird’s 9 second formula?
Doesn’t make a difference, I hate these threads because inevitably someone shows up that no one has seen around before that claims some big numbers.

Are we looking for 1/4 mile e.t.s or top speed, or highest power numbers or what? It is known that someone with a 9 second e.t. won't have the fastest top speed, such as the case with two cars on here already...Monty runs 10.58 (I believe) whereas NOSFEDGTA runs in the 9's but with over 10mph difference in trap. So what exactly are we looking for?

engine combo: LS1 (that's all you need to know)
A little known fact about LS1s: through an unknown mystical force they are able to slow down non LS1/6 engines in their immediate area, which can range from 0-200 meters

Wasn't there someone here with a black IROC-Z with a 502 or a 509 that was in the 9's?
I remember seeing it in a sig pic with details above it.
...as for importance of HP, look at the sponsors.... "Put your power where the ground is"
...if you can't do that, HP don't mean chit.

Mine runs pretty good, but it's not the quickest or fastest here. It's got a supercharged 509 that makes 800 horsepower @ 6000 rpm on 92 octane gas. It's an all steel car with a full interior. Check out the vid clip in my sig line for an actual 1/4 mile pass with performance numbers.
