Wasted a BMW Z4
I know I should stick with picking on someone a little bigger like Z06's, but it was still fun and that guy wanted to run!

Found some info.....
There are two models of Z4 Roadster: the 2003 BMW Z4 2.5i and the BMW Z4 3.0i. The difference is mostly about the engine choices but there are slight enhancements to the trim level with the more powerful, upper grade 3.0i.
Performance
The two engines that really set these two models apart are both V6 with power to spare. The first, on the 2.5-liter, is an inline V6 that produces 184 hp at 5500 rpm and 175 lb-ft of torque at 3500. It comes teamed with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. These combinations achieve 20/28 mpg (city/hwy) and 21/28 mpg, respectively.
The 3.0-liter V6, predictably in the Z4 3.0i, has 225 hp at 5900 rpm and 214 lb-ft of torque at 3500. This one comes standard with a 5-speed automatic transmission but it can be coupled with a higher-cost, close ratio, sport-tuned 6-speed manual. This model is able to achieve 20/28 mpg and 21/29 mpg (city/hwy), respectively.
So if it was the 3.0...your lookin at a low 14. second car.

Ahhhh! Its not a V6! (sorry owned a bmw and still love em, just can't afford one at this point) It is an Inline slant 6. Man that one common error burns me. Even though i am in the camaro now, it still bothers me. Oh well, nice kill and all. Just get it right I6, not V6.

Heh...
I wasted one pretty bad a long time ago in my 84', some old dude who thought his new ride was the bomb. He must heve felt pretty stupid when his wife asked him why he couldn't beat me. We raced twice, second time I gave him a head start and still wooped on him.
Car and Driver rates the car at a 14.4 quarter.

Transmission: You!
They didnt make Z4's along time ago. Also, the Z4 is faster than a Z3 which you probably raced. Either way, those cars are terds! It wasnt even really a race!
The best race I had so far was a red light race against an '02 Z06. I had him by 3 - 4 cars when I shut it down at ~120 mph or so.

A long time ago means not yesterday or the day before. I raced it like 7 or 8 months ago. And yes they did have them then.
I raced the 3.0 version as the emblem on the front fender stated.
Don't go telling people what they did and didn't race like you are the know-all guru or something. Some of us know what we freakin' raced and are not morons.
I looked up the specs on the internet when I came home because I thought they were faster and he should have smoked me, but I guess they are all for looks.
Good for you on the Z06. I wish I could race you in my Trans Am....new vettes are my most sought after prey...and I kill them.
