wow man...this sounds like a great race...I really want to know who wins. Video tape it and put it on this site, you will be the man.
But, from the sounds of it. I think he is going to have you. But, nothing to be ashamed of...he does have a nice setup. But, just for you to know, Im hoping you win.

POST RESULTS!

This is most definitly going to be a close race. If I had to choose a winner, it would be the Bird. Thats only if the driver is good, if they aren't you could probably take him. A vid of this race would be awesome.

What's with the stock intake and TB? They have to be holding your 383 back, performance wise. What about swapping a 58mm TB and Lingenfelter or Accel intake on before the race. Our little secret.

Damn! I missed that he has 4.55 gears. If he hooks, you might as well not even bother and save your gas.

Ya I know my intake/runners and cam will be changed next year. Just ran out of cash for this summer.

Lingenfelter/Accel intake and runners is whats gunna be going on. Plus an ATI procharger, but one step at a time.

I am pretty sure he will have me, he races all the time, I have only gone down the track twice in my life. But I am still gunna have fun try'n

I am still try'n to find someone too tape it for me.

Anyway you could get a bank loan to get the parts you need? You want to win this race, right?

i dunno man.........i would have to bet on me....you got some of it right, but it has 4:56, 28-10.5 mickeys, turbo350 with 4000 stall, 1 7/8 headers, 3.5" collectors straight out....... 90/10s in the front 50/50 rear shocks, no swaybars. .... now tell the truth....you heard it tonight....does it still have a little power left in it??? i think your really gonna want it and dump the clutch and blow an axle anyway and you didn't specify if i could run the juice or not???? now that makes a difference.... but i have no prob hooking at all....1.61 60 ft times last time out

later

Have you ever honeslty been sitting next to a car that has pulled a 1.6 60ft time?

It will scare the living crap out of you, trust me. That will be a quick couple car lengths right there that will be extremly hard to make up.

I was at the track when a old Nova with a 4000+ stall a transbrake and 4.10s racing next to me, it startled me how quick that thing got out of the hole...I was tempted to put the car in reverse and drive home, it was that embarrassing!

Dude first off them 1.6's were with the old 355 motor, and it ran 11.7 N/A. I have seen this car race on several occations and seen him darn near pull the front tires off the ground, it was awesome to see. This new 355 engine is alot more detuned then the old one, just to pass him over untill his 412 gets finished, and he hasnt tracked the this 355 motor so he has no true clue what his times will be. Ya I think they will be faster then mine, expecialy now that I will be running street tires. Unless i put water in his gas tank or something :P hehehehe

Well as everone guessed the Formula won

Now for the funny bit, the owner of the Formula was driving my car and a friend of our's was driving the 75. Both cars were having some issues at the time hence Y I wasnt driving my own car for that run (Louich is my Mechanic) so our cars times rather bite. We figured out finnaly I have one of my dual cats plugged. The Bird had no belt (no I didnt cut it ), not sure what else was wrong. No pics sorry, but breakdowns like this.

92Z28 75Formula
R/t .655 .710
60' 2.225 1.810
330' 5.956 5.462
1/8 9.033 8.278
MPH 79.73 84.34
990 11.688 10.782
1/4 13.922 12.917
MPH 100.81 105.67

I got no clue of altitude to correct it. Keep in mind my car had street tires and the Formula had slicks on. Not making excuses but I dont think my car did that bad with streets and a plugged cat. That one second diference sure did seem like alot when watching the race.

Good running though. you're right, that isn't bad for a plugged cat and street tires.
