Hot rod caprice
I have this crazy a$$ friend whos dad owns a body shop , well two weeks ago some guy just left hes 85 caprice at the shop after the work was done to it because he couldnt pay, so my friend keeps the car . He takes a 350 out of a totalled truck they have up there and throws it in the caprice , he gets a used performer rpm intake and a 650 holley double pumper , ditches the computer throws hooker long tube headers on it and completely guts the car , no fenderwells , no ac , only two seats , no power stearing, etc. . then he cuts a whole in the hood , and puts a 2" carb spacer on it , and flips the open element cleaner upside down so the cleaner sticks out of the whole about 3". He puts 10" slicks out back and primers the car black w/ yellow flames(from far away looks awesome, not pretty up close however). Then he takes a rear end w/ 4.10 gears out of a truck and throws it in. Well I had no Idea this was going on and he calls me up and says he has a car to run me in tonight , so I meat him at the drag strip , and hes in the caprice I am in my camaro and laughing my A$$ off well anyway we line up and go , he runs a 14.0 and I run a 14.57 , he smoked me . Well I just got back and wanted to tell everyone about it ,sorry the post is so long.

I have so been thinking about doing that over here. There arent too many decent american cars, but they have thousands of 80's Caprices, I was thinking about picking one up and hot rodding it just like that.

My friend has a 350 Caprice wagon, 93'. Engine is a dog but 295s fit no problem and look bad *** on the back of a big wagon. They have sleeper written all over them if someone wanted to put some cash in em.
