Anyone got a 10 sec car I can borrow?
This is a little long but I need to vent.
I ran the '88 at the track last night and I was telling a friend of mine about it this morning. So he asks me if I ready to run his brother in law, and I say sure if he wants. We kinda have a running feud with this guy as he is HUGE Ford guy and doesn't respect anything but the blue oval. The guy is a real bigot and has to be better than everyone.
So my friend calls me back 10 min. later and says the guy wants to throw a supercharged 'Stang at me. I'm like WHAT!? This guy doesn't own a blown Mustang! He's going to borrow a friends car to race me! I was soooo pissed when I heard that. I mean come on! Just because he doesn't have a car in his entire stable of Mustangs(he's got like six of them and all of them are pretty much stock) that comes close to my RS, he has to borrow SOMEONE ELSE'S car to race a car I OWN!
I guess I'll have to hurry up and fix the '89. That way I'll have a car slow enough so he can at least hang with me.

Thanks for the support guys. This Mustang runs low 13's from what I've heard, so I've got a good chance at beating it. I know my friends brother-in-law couldn't drive it to its full potential but I'm not racing it. It's the principal of the thing. It proves nothing and I choose not associate myself with people like that.
daxfas26, I'm back home in the Austin area right now. I'll be back in Houston at the end of this month. That looks like an amazing setup you got there! I'd love to see it run when its finished.

Well, I do have a 10 second car. I wish you lived closer. I wouldnt let you borrow my car, but I'd be more than happy to destroy him for you. Gotta love those Mustang guys.
