Went to the local hangout tonight. Met some cool f-body guys and raced a stock LT1 Camaro for fun. It was over pretty quick. I did a burnout to heat up the DR's and hooked pretty well off the line, I look back and he was WAY back there, so I braked. Good time and good guy.

I've had more races the past week than ever.

In the IROC, I raced a Starion (Chrysler Conquest twin, I posted about it last week)w/ upgraded turbo and intercooler and some other mods last Sat. and spanked it.

In the LS1 Trans Am, I raced a friend's 72 Nova this week and spanked it, but his Nova needs some work. Once from a stop, once from a 50 mph roll.

Also in the LS1 T/A, I raced a 224/230 cammed, slightly ported heads, exhuast, etc. LT1 Camaro from 40-125 twice and from a stop once. I got him by 1/2 car each time from 40-125 mph, I had a 200 lbs. passenger though, he didn't. From a light, I smoked him off the line, missed 2nd, got it in 2nd, and still had him by 1/2 car by 100.

Great week for me, 2-0 in the IROC and 5-0 in the T/A this week!

Thanks, I guess I could add the stock Dodge Avenger that tried to mess with me on the street on my way home from racing the stock LT1 Camaro, but I won't. I'll never know wtf he was thinking He just wouldn't leave me alone, so I put the smack down.

i used to have a almost stock 94 LT1 camaro(k&n air intake).......it ran 8.80s in the 1/8 with 1.90s 60 ft......never got to run it in the 1/4, any ideas about what it woulda run?
