A hopefull can have these races but i wanna know what you guys think...
i have a 305 TBI no mods...
i've raced one before at top end and slammed it...
i don't know if were gonna have 2 races... prolly one of the line and one of a roll at about 40

a new beetle...
don't know much about these things...
i could use an idea...

an 89 supra n/a... no mods i think... besides adding a bunch of heavy rims and body stuff... and more appearance upgrades...

an eclipse rs with intake and exhaust... 5 speed, the generation before the new ones

95 prelude... intake exhaust... non-vtec... base model

well tell me whats up...
i'm for sure gonna race the tbi
the beetle... not to sure if it'll happen...
and the supra has a pretty good chance to happen
and the eclipse could happen too...
and the prelude too

i'm gonna try to race em all cuz i really don't care if i lose... i'm one of those for the sake of the rush guyz...

well i could use an idea so i'm not suprised

the beetle is the regular base model.. no mods

You should easily kill all of them... eclipse, 16.4 he's probably the quickest out of the bunch...

i didn't think the eclipse would be too fast...
i would guess the prelude and the eclipse would be about the same...
both have intake and exhaust... and are stick...
they are both base models

The eclipse is the slowest out of that whole bunch and I think you will take him. The rest of the races I'm not sure except I think you will lose to the camaro.

i did a check up on the supra
it has 200 hp stock n/a couldn't find the torque cuz friend told me this info

don't know if i'll be able to race him tho... i barely see him

the 305 race is gonna happen for sure now

the prelude will prolly happen soon

the eclipse depends becuz when i see him theres nasty traffic...

the beetle... ha! that'll be a miracle if i ever see her again...

I was under the impression that YOU were the 305... And I doubt that the mark III Supra NA is 200hp... But ya never know... Lemme check really quick if I can find something. OK, 1986 Supra (same stats I'm sure) NA, 200hp @ 6000, 185tq @ 4800 Redline: 6500 1/4mi 16.1 thats the 5-spd The 89 turbos have 232hp and 254tq... 1/4mi 15.4... and the eclipse isn't the slowest of the bunch they're all slow, just depends on the driver

youll probably lose to the camaro, but the bettle, that has to be by far slower than the supra. I posted Ugly camaro vs. 01 beetle, and like i said in my post i raced a bettle (non turbo and beat it by like 5 cars and it was less than 1/8 of a mile.

this is in reference to the 305tbi... its not a camaro... its a bird like mine... 91

you should beat that too, i've raced a few lightly modded ones with my 305 and havent lost. and is the prelude a stick, or auto, cause ive only raced one stick, and it was quite a bit faster than the rest.

and its got the tranny work...
the pullies... sparkwires, and the custom intake...

i say you should take him, but maybe only by a few inches, lol, no, you should win pretty easy if he doesnt have any major mods, does his exhaust include header?

The reason the Stick may have been faster is that the preludes come with a few differant engine options. The base is 140hp and the Top end VTech is 200hp. I think there is one in between, so you need to know your enemy if you are running a stock 305 tbi.

Oh sorry, the way it was worded (since it didn't show your sig for some reason) it sounded like you had a 305 tbi. Still, gotta check out and make sure you know what you are going against.

well what i know for sure is this

the 305 is completely stock
the prelude has intake and exhuast(just muffler) and stick
eclipse... same...
the beetle is stock... completely
the supra... has a few things... nothing to the engine...
all just body kit... rims... neon lights... system...
things to slow him down...

Since your car is an auto, Your weight is probally around 3400 LBS.
The prelude has a stick, but less torque, but he has less weight to push.
I think you beat the prelude but BARLY.

i dun know how many miles... i'll find out today... its my best friend...
i had 2 other people in my car...
we peddled at the light and i took him all the way... i wish i can just grab him and make him type cuz hes behind. But u won't believe anyway...

so its just put faith...
yes i did win... so i'm gonna continue being happy about it... and now i'm gonna go after the tpi... but i'm far from that still...
who knows tho? with enough mods i might be able to stick with one....

Guys i'm sooooo happy right now... i needed something like that race to put faith back into my car... i've been having a lot of bad luck...

I've raced a tpi... my x-best friends... too bad we're not friends anymore... but ya notice my friends and i all had thirdgens... i was the first tho... then they got faster ones... well now i know i'm faster than a stock 305 tbi... the tpi i raced a lot when i had the 2.8... but still have no chance with the 3.4

i believe you, i mean when i drive my new 305 with 1300 miles compared to my 155,000 mile 305 there is a world of difference. Im more curious than skeptical

Keoki, I really can't read your posts. There are too many "..."s. Imagine if someone talked like that, you'd be waiting 3 days between sentences. My head hurts, but I agree with most of the posts above. I'd like to think that the TBI would beat you, but that's just because I have one . Good luck.
