a 305 would be good for mid to low 15's most likely. The L98 car would be good for anywhere from low 15's to mid 14's generally. Sometimes they can be faster.

my 88 formula 350 had the same stuff ran about 14.4 to 14.7
some where in that range..

a 86 with a 305 most likely high 15's..

Okay,

My '85 ran a 15.0 @ 91.5 bone stock. However an '86 will be considerably slower. It has a much smaller cam than the '85 does. Also I had 3.27 gears (BW 9bolt), and the car youre talking about has the 2.73 gears.

My guess is 16.0 @ 88

I know how people dislike magazine times, but there are some magazine times on this website that got some smokin' times out of the old 305s. Check 'em out.

A 305 tpi should be mid 15s at worst, in stock form.

racing for pink slips is just as good as racing for nothing. Who in their right mind is going to hand over their car. And what will the other person do go to the cops and tell them they beat someone for their car in a race? it's pointless
