Hehehehe.....92 RS vs. F250 SD

I know this is probably the stupidest race ever, but some of the other v6 guys might get a kick out of it. I was visiting in Texas, where my father lives, and got a chance to race him in his '00 F250 Super Duty. It has the Powerstroke V8 and a five-speed. While following him one day to a friends place in Fort Worth, he pulled next to me at a red light and proceeded to rev. (He drives everything like its a Ferrari.) So I decided to humor him and when we got the green, I pasted him. (don't know wether he started in 1st or 2nd LOL.) His truck can move, but not until the turbo spins up. However, from a rolling start on the highway, he grunts past me like I'm standing still. the 50-70 acceleration in that thing is awesome, and as for me, well, it's an auto v6, what can I say LOL.
Should I consider this a win for getting the red light holeshot on him, or hang my head in shame for posting this?

I've seen a newer F-something turbo deisel truck run 12's at my local track!

Those turbo diesels are VERY easy to mod. I was watching a show on TV where they took a stock turbo deisel ford and added a "100HP chip" and exhaust. At first i called BS since how the hell are you gonna get 100HP from a chip? Well, they hooked up the 3" exhaust and installed the chip and put it on the dyno and GAINED 100HP and over 200 ft pounds of torque! They also had a 75HP chip that worked without the exhaust upgrade. They dynoed it and it did what it said.

Low and behold..brand new ford turbo truck running 12's

100 hp and 200 lb-ft from a chip and exhaust? WOW, the exhaust on those things are about the size of sewer pipes as it is. My father's looks like it was jacked from a school bus. I love that truck. It would pull your house off of it's foundation all day long.
