anyone kill a tiburon?
We just got our first shipment of new Hyundais in at the dealership I work at. I was wondering if anyone has killed any Tiburons and how easy was it?
I have to wait a couple of days before when can get it on the freeway (not insured or ours yet) and I'm waiting for the six speed to come in.(tonight or tommorrow)
Drove the auto around our parkin lot seems pretty peppy for 180 horse. Seems to have a power band over 3000(couldnt wind it out much).
Hope a few people saw it in the f f and we sell some. It is a nice lookin car with a cockpit interior but u can't beat the V8 in my book.

when i was like 18(i think) a tiburon was the car i really wanted...all you had to do is "tweak" something and it had the horsies that they used on the track...thats what sold me..the porsche suspention..power everything...when i took it for a test drive the salesman was great..he said "DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT...I WONT TELL" i was like..umm..then he smiled...woooo hooo that was the funnest part in my 18 years...they are peppy lil buggers....but now....now they have a 6spd and it looks kinda like a supra/celica mix breed...a girl i know has one..put an exaust on it a k/n and it goes like snot..not sure of 1/4 time but it should beat a v6 fbody with some mods and may hang with some of the stock 305 5spds here...these are the sneaky lil buggers that noone knows about!!
everyone is worried about the supras, and the rx7s..not me man...those tibs are starting to scare me....if they get going on the aftermarket...watch out...
thats only my .02 though

I really like the new tib. Although, working for Hyundai for 4 1/2 years made me quite partial to their products. I think it might be quick enough to give some stock or near stock V8 cars from the 80's a scare.

Ya like mine
They're nice rides and come with a unbeatable warranty, but if I were to spend that much on a car i'd get a 2-3 year old Z or Trans am instead. On the other hand, I'd probably rather drive the tib in the winter. But still, it'd make a pretty cool daily driver then take the camaro out on weekends.... keep the miles off it from the daily grind. That way I could go with a crazy motor instead of a practical motor

With 180 hp I thought they were going to be semi-quick, like mid 15s to low 15s, but I went to one of their websites and saw a guy pull like a low 16 with a 6-speed. Some other guy with intake and exhaust and he was hoping to break 15s.
But that's just what I've read online. I can't speak from experience cuz I haven't raced one or see one race.

Hey...
If you owned a Chrysler K- car, you'd have to change yer name to "KnockNRods". hehehe.
This bothers me. I consider myself fairly well read as far as automobiles go, but I don't think I've heard of that one...
