Ive seen a 2.8 s15 outrun a 2.8 firebird for g0d sakes. And the s15 was TBI and the firebird SFI or whatever. Anyways say the 2.8 and the lo3 had the same HP and everything and the cars ran the same times. Just for comparison say they did. What would you rather have? Something like the 2.8 with very little aftermarket or a motor that accepts most SBC parts??

Im not putting all v6s down. Id love to have a 3.8 turbo they are badass. The new 3.8 is a pretty good motor to will outrun most 305s easy. There was a guy on the TBI board with a crazy 2.8 tho. Supercharged and everything. It ran 13s or something like that in a s10.
