94 S10 ZR2 4.3v6 versus me 84 LG4

He has a chip and a k&n but he also has 4wd and big *** 32'' tires. I have a stock LG4 in a perfect state of tune with only a shift kit and smog pump removal. He says he will demolish me, I think not. What do you guys think?both vehicles are automatics by the way.

i raced my friends 99 s10 longbed with a v6 in it, auto bonestock, versus my 83 lg4 in decent shape with a shift kit and he handed me my @ss on a silver platter. After i had gone about an eighth a mile, he had gone about a quarter. It was embarassing, so id say be afraid, be very afraid

my buddy made is single cab v6 s10 into a zr2 clone, with 31" tires, what a dog, you should beat him easy, and it not, do the exahust and intake and you'd have a low/mid 15 second car, last time a saw a stock compact truck do that it was a 5.9 datoka rt.

hmm, i think its gonna be a close race...probably come down to driver skill. i hate to say it, but the 4.3 might edge you out.....however, i do hope you win.

Good luck.
