I assume that both fans on a 91 z28 should turn on at the same time, or be off at the same time. Is right? My car runs kind of hot but doesn't overheat. the Temp gets up close to overheating range when the weather is hot and you get into stop and go traffic. I notices that the driver side fan goes on but the passenger side on isn't on. I saw where the fan switch is on the passenger side. Is there a fan switch for each fan, or only one for both. If there is only one, then the fan motor must be burn out. What do you think?

OK, I see in my firebird book (although the problem is on the Camaro) that there is a regular fan, and a heavy duty fan. The heavy duty fan (on the passenger side) is the one that doesnt run. It has its own switch. On my firebird it comes on when the ignition turns on, the camaro heavy duty one never comes on. Im going to test for current at the fan, if no current Ill change the switch, if current change the fan. The ac relay can also turn on the fan, when I turn on the ac the other fan comes on so I dont think it is the ac relay. How does this sound?
