Screw in rocker studs for Vortec heads

Just wondering which rocker studs you guys went with. I plan to be running 1.5:1 self aligning narrow body roller rockers. I belive part number 12371058 (GMPP) is the correct part, but wanted to ask around before buying. This is the same rocker stud used on the LT1/4 engines. Also is there anything special the machine shop needs to know about installing these? For instance, are they shorter scince they are for use without guide plates? If they are shorter does the rocker stud boss get machined down as far as for standard screw in studs? Any feed back is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Brandon
