I have a StreetDampner on my 383 Stroker....its viscous filled BLA BLA BLA....

Works good i guess

BTW it says to paint them or they'll rust, i just clear-coated mine & it looks good in the natural steel look.

quality costs money, and with an externally balanced engine, parts get more expensive because of the relative rarity. There's no $50 balancer that's worth a ****, so you might as well save the money for a street damper.

If your not planning on MASSIVE HP........and just want a mild 400, goto GM and buy a new one.....

But remember, those balancers have a history, and their history sucks...

If its not a big price difference, buy the Streetdampner or equivelent...

Balancer plays a big roll, ESPECIALLY in an EXTERNALLY BALANCED ENGINE.
