355 TPI, LT4 HC, CR and Quench q's!!

The 305 is gone.

I'm building 355 TPI w/
LT4 HOT cam,
Silv-o-lite KB hypereutectic pistons (no 106),
edelbrock TES,
Dynomax 3",
52mm TB,
Haltech ECU,
30 lbs SVO:s,
stock ported iron heads w/Manley street(E) race(I) valves,
3-angel valve job,
Accel siamised runners,
stock ported manifold,
siamised plenum
MSD 6AL
no cat, egr, ac
etc.

Can't afford Al-heads for now! Piston to deck is measured 0,57mm. With stock victor reintz head gasget the 'guench' will be about 1,5 mm - too much?? If I reduce it, the CR will be too much!

CR is already pushing the limits - 10.5, but i'll be using 95 or 98 gasolino.. What's the CR limit with 98?

10.5 to one is rather alot on cast iron heads but workable with timing adjustments. with 98 octane your safe to about 11 to 11.5 to one with cast iron heads.
